No Bad news and the Badge Hunt 1.
Hey everyone.
By now you will have realised that we didn't make the
playoffs. If you haven't realised, that would be why we
didn't make it. lol
Just kidding. No point ending on a low note so why
don't we use a little time during the playoffs - to rise up
the ratings and finish...not in 17th(as we did, although
I would dispute that) but closer to between 10th and
14th?
We are already 14th and we could easily go higher.
Tomorrow we stay in D4(unless we get a mad rush of
points tonight). If we win D4, it moves us up to at least
12th.
Playoffs finish on the 25th. That will also be the date
for our unofficial ending position. :)

Hey everyone.
Thanks to all of you that responded to my message. We
showed what we could do with 10 surfing. To have 10 of
you jump onboard at short notice was amazing. :)
Although we were ultimately relegated to D5 - I'm still very
proud of the quick effort and spirit that was produced.
We are now in D5 and it's time to go for it. Today we are
against an inactive team. Tomorrow is TE Pays Team and
then we have Ajay Team on the 14th. We need two wins
and with the members here, it should be possible.

All good things come to an end.........
Hey everyone.
It has been coming for a while and probably should have
been done sooner but the time is now....or rather, soon.
This will be Renegades last ever Season at CTP.
This will be our last fight......or surrender.
When qualification came into being, activity dropped like a
stone. We tried to compete with a lot less members surfing
but it never worked. Even with the removal of the need to
qualify in this Season - the hunger, fun, passion and fight
that we used to have, has not come back.
Time to leave while we are still relatively high in the rankings.
A dark day would be Renegades in 20th position and if we
continue, that is what will happen or worse. I see fatigue in
some surfers as well - they want to continue the good name
but there is less and less backup from the team - so a lot
more surfing for them. That is not fair on them so a little bit
of radical action needs to happen.
From feedback of members, both surfing and non-surfing.
>Some of you want a rest from it all, not just CTP.
>Some want to break from constant surfing and do those
other things they were planning to do or learn.
>Some want to surf where they want and not have to surf
for points at sites that hold no value for them.
>Some see the CTP site and exchanges as neglected.
A few other things but I can't post them in public. lol
So, we have a final fight if you want it. I am up for it and I
know quite a few others will be as well(see further down).
It would be nice if everyone that is up for a final fight, gets
in touch and says - I'm up for it!!!!! - but I'm not going to
insist on it. :)
Renegades at CTP will not exist after this Season. Doesn't
mean that I am leaving the scene(I'm not) or that we can't
do something easy and fun in the future(something small
for in the New Year - might work, might not).
Ending(almost).
I'm proud of all Renegades, past and present, that made or
are making a contribution to the team. If I could shake your
hands or give you a hug, I would.
For the most part, it's been awesome. We had some great
battles and some of the most fun, were those we lost. lol
We had some dark times with health and loss but we all got
together and pulled through them. Remember that and also
remember that these people are still Renegades. Might be
under a different team name but they are your friends and
always will be.
I'll still be around so drop me messages when you need
anything or just want a chat.
Those who go to other teams, I wish you the best in your
surfing - Rock it!
Those who go do those things that team surfing stopped
you from doing, I applaud you - go do it.
Those who go and just have a rest - you deserve it.

battle. We may not even reach the play-offs but we will give
it a go. I'm getting beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks in! lol

Season 8 is just around the corner......
Hey everyone.
If you check the previous post, I said we would be sitting out
the next Season(s) unless things changed............they did!
Thanks to Maya(who stepped up and polled members while
I was offline injured) - we are going to compete in Season 8.
From what I gather, we have almost half the team on board.
Will there be more once we start? :)

This Season, you DO NOT need to qualify each day. It's more
about surfing the Promos like subs, vaults, eggs, DC etc.
Qualifying was a big part in people deciding to leave or losing
interest so let me say it again - you DO NOT need to qualify.
Two other things that annoyed members are below.......
Subscriber Bonus - Removed
XP for Purchases - Removed
Now that three of the things that people hated are removed,
this Season is open for some fun and is all about completing
promos. Simply doing more promos than the team you are
paired against, wins.
The promo and team you compete against will change daily.

Season 7 final egg contest.
Hey everyone.
FIRST - thank you to everyone that showed up for the contest.
Another thank you to everyone that has been involved in the
Renegades team at any time.
I asked everyone to go through a Season and let me know if
you wanted it. This Season has been pretty clear and we don't.
As I said before, we stop competing now until things change and
it is worth competing........and the fun is brought back.
This may sound like a farewell but it's not, we're just sitting out
the next season or more. Nothing changes except we don't take
part in the duels or the play-offs. The team continues.........

Season 7 is over.
Hey everyone.
The Season is over and not being too dramatic, it was a bit of
a disaster and one to forget.
The play-off is approaching and we may as well use it for a
final surfing contest(details below). WooHoo!!

Season 6 - where were we?
11th place. Ouch!!!!
First to the bad news.
Interest has dropped like a stone and with our
Lowest finishing position ever.
Lowest amount of bonuses.
Lowest amount of Kore4 members.
Lowest number of qualified surfers.
It's time to withdraw from competition. Season 8 will be a rest for
all Renegades. If season 9 is a change, we will come back in.
Good news.
We get a rest.
If qualifying and only 4 places paid are not changed, this is most
likely a permanent rest from any competition.
Season 8 time will be used to do something else for everyone. :)
That's the thing, I should be mad that we're 11th but I'm not. I get
it, it's not worth it, even for the sake of pride. We had in previous
seasons the times where we could fight for something but that has
been lost. I'm not going to tell up to 25 of you to go out and fight
all day for a possible $1 split between everyone.
So........on to something happier and a contest.

This contest will take place on the same days as our play-off.
Simple contest running on two days this month(August).
17th and 18th - Duel against Uber Surfers.

You DO NOT need to qualify for the day, it's all about eggs
and getting as many as you can.
Even though I can't win, I will be trying to beat you all on

So, collect the most eggs and you'll win. If the contest gets

First to the bad news.
Interest has dropped like a stone and with our
Lowest finishing position ever.
Lowest amount of bonuses.
Lowest amount of Kore4 members.
Lowest number of qualified surfers.
It's time to withdraw from competition. Season 8 will be a rest for
all Renegades. If season 9 is a change, we will come back in.
Good news.
We get a rest.
If qualifying and only 4 places paid are not changed, this is most
likely a permanent rest from any competition.
Season 8 time will be used to do something else for everyone. :)
That's the thing, I should be mad that we're 11th but I'm not. I get
it, it's not worth it, even for the sake of pride. We had in previous
seasons the times where we could fight for something but that has
been lost. I'm not going to tell up to 25 of you to go out and fight
all day for a possible $1 split between everyone.
So........on to something happier and a contest.

Cash Contest
This contest will take place on the same days as our play-off.
Simple contest running on two days this month(August).
17th and 18th - Duel against Uber Surfers.

How to win?
You DO NOT need to qualify for the day, it's all about eggs
and getting as many as you can.
Even though I can't win, I will be trying to beat you all on
the Thursday. I look forward to it. lol
So, collect the most eggs and you'll win. If the contest gets
in a lock between two members, then I'll look at XP earned.
1st - $6
2nd - $3
3rd - $2
4th - $2
5th - $2
Goodies and XP for all that show up and try their best or
even just try for a bit.
If you qualify on both days, your highest egg number day
will count for entry.
Contest will end at 8pm EST each night(so I can....sleep.).
